Prof. Alan Roger Santos-Silva

DDS, MSc, PhD, Fellow AAOM

Dental surgeon graduated with academic honours from São Paulo State University, Brazil. Master's and Doctorate from the Postgraduate Programme in Oral Medicine and Pathology at the State University of Campinas, Brazil, in partnership with the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Academic Unit, School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield, England. He worked in the Oral Oncology Service of the State Cancer Institute of the University of São Paulo as a Dental Surgeon and, since 2011, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Oral Diagnosis at the State University of Campinas, where he teaches both theoretical and clinical undergraduate courses. He is a member of the Oral Cancer Team of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC/WHO).
