PROF. REEM HANNA

Prof. Reem Hanna is a senior specialist clinician, educator, and researcher at UCL-Eastman Dental Institute. She is principal investigator in achieving PBM consensus for various clinical applications, focusing on neuropathic pain and adverse effects induced by oncology treatments. She achieved her PhD in Photomedicine in 2020, and was presented with the Life-Achievement Award from European Medical Laser Association in 2022. She has authored and co-authored over 50 scientific papers published in peer reviewed journals and chapters related to PBM in two books. Prof. Hanna is British Medical Laser Association Executive Board Member and chair of the scientific and organising committees for annual conferences since 2016 to date.
