Abstract will be reviewed with four major criteria in mind:

1. Impact – Significance of the science in improving care
2. Innovation – Novelty
3. Approach – Study design, sample size, rigour of research
4. Presentation – Clarity, logic, completeness of data presented and results with statistics

Each abstract will be graded on a scale of 1-10 per the guidelines outlined below:

1-2 = Extremely poor (rejection warranted)

3-4 = Substandard (revisions needed)

5-7 = Good (consideration for Flash Poster presentation)

8-9= Excellent (consideration for an oral communication)

10 = Exceptional (the reviewer believes this must be an oral Shark Tank Entrepreneur)
